Selection Perfection – BLJFC RISING STARS
(Girl’s Rogers Cup and Boys Futures Pathway)
The Rogers Cup is the premier youth development competition for female Australian rules football in Western Australia (WA), specifically targeting girls aged 13–17. It serves as a vital pathway between junior football and senior WAFL Women’s (WAFLW) teams, where as The Futures is a talent pathway program for under-16 boys, who play in a 7-game season that lasts from March to April annually. 9 WAFL clubs compete, in addition to a representative side for the South West Talent Academy.

FUTURES – PERTH
The talent cup overflowed at BLJFC with 8 of our boys making the CTF WAFL Futures selection for East Fremantle and Perth.
The CTF WAFL Futures is an elite Under-16 competition showcasing the state’s top emerging talent across a 7-week season.The competition gives young players exposure, with matches held across Perth and regional areas, serving as a primary pathway to the WAFL Colts competition. As a key development pathway into WAFL clubs, the program delivers high-level coaching, training, and development opportunities for 10 teams.
