Black Swans Soar To National Glory!

The AAMI WA State 16 Boys ended a nine-year title drought in spectacular fashion, completing an undefeated AFL National Under 16 Championships campaign with a commanding victory over Vic Country on the Gold Coast in July.

The Black Swans led from start to finish, producing a powerful performance in wild conditions at Southport’s Fankhauser Reserve to claim a 29-point victory — 8.15 (63) to 4.10 (34).

And proudly representing Bullcreek Leeming JFC in this incredible team were two of our own rising stars — Jayden Makanza and Aidan Wilson!

To be part of an undefeated WA side and bring home the national title is an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment Jayden and Aidan have shown throughout the carnival and the season.

Everyone at BLJFC is incredibly proud of both boys and all they have achieved. We can’t wait to see where their football journeys take them next.
