Meeting an AFL Legend

Our Year 11 and 12 playing group recently had the privilege of spending time with AFL coaching legend Mick Malthouse on Monday 15th June before our club’s main fundraiser. In a relaxed and engaging session, Mick shared stories from his remarkable football journey, providing the boys with a unique insight into the game and the experiences that shaped his career.

Mick spoke about the importance of leadership, discipline, preparation, and resilience, offering valuable lessons that extend well beyond football. The boys were fully engaged throughout the discussion, taking the opportunity to ask questions and learn from one of the most respected figures in Australian football. It was a fantastic experience for our young players and one they will no doubt remember for years to come.
